Sorry, if you add 30 pints of water to 5 pounds of paper, you would end up with a bunch of soggy dead worms. Only add 3 pints of water for each pound of paper. In this case, add 15 pints of water for the five pounds of paper.

You and your friends can just stick your hands in the bag and mix the newspaper. Your hands might get a little dirty from the inks in the newspaper but it will wash off with soap and water. Have your Mom, Dad or friend check the moisture just to be sure.

Now close the bag and let it sit overnight. This makes sure that all the paper is wet.
