Weather Log
This log can be used to fit your needs. Record available information
on the lob, using your own measurements or off of the TV weather
report or radio. Measurements should be made at the same time
each day. Look at the weather each day, and see how the previous
day's weather was different.

Try to forecast the next day's weather, using the following basic
guidelines.
Air Pressure If air pressure is falling, this means
a low pressure area is approaching. Low pressure can bring rain
or snow, or at least an increase in cloudiness. If the pressure
is rising, high pressure is approaching. Fair weather should follow.
Cloud Types Small cumulus clouds means fair weather.
Stratus clouds that appear to be getting thicker could bring rain
or snow. Cirrus clouds that look like feathers are associated
with fair weather. Cumulus clouds that are growing tall means
a thunderstorm may occur.
Wind Direction Wind coming out of the north many
times occurs after a cold front has passed, bringing cooler temperatures
and fair weather. A south wind will bring warmer temperatures,
and a chance that rain or snow may be approaching. Wind out of
the east means unsettled weather is coming.
