...the term fresh on a turkey (or other poultry) label refers
to any raw turkey product that has never been below 26°F? Raw turkey
held at 0°F or below must be labeled frozen or previously frozen.
No specific labeling is required on raw turkey/poultry stored at temperatures
between 0-25°F.
...turkey/chicken can be safely marinated in the refrigerator for up
to 2 days before cooking, according to the Food Safety and Inspection
of the USDA? Any uncooked leftover marinade should be discarded. Marinade
