Recipe Corner
If your grandkids like pizza, theyre sure to like this recipe
for Pizza Pockets. Add a salad and some fruit, and you have a well-rounded
meal.
Pizza Pockets
(8 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 can of large biscuits 8 per can
- Filling of your choice, such as diced, cooked ham, pepperoni,
chopped vegetables, or mozzarella cheese
- A small amount of pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce. Youll
use about one tablespoon of sauce on each biscuit
Directions:
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Separate biscuits and press each to form a 5-inch circle.
- Place pressed biscuits on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Spread a tablespoon of sauce on half of each biscuit circle.
- Add a small amount of fillings.
- Fold the pizza circle in half, pressing the edges with a fork
to seal.
- Bake at 400º for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden.
