Native
to tropical regions of Central and South America and Mexico.
Plant
in the spring after danger from frost is over.
Ageratums
are sold as plants in garden centers. Plant each ageratum
about six to eight inches apart.
In mid-summer, cut the plants back to about half their
height. After this cutting, they will send out new
blooms. Ageratums prefer full sun or light shade.
Use ageratum for flower borders.
