Russian Sage
Perovskia atriplicifolia

A combination of gray foliage and lavender flowers make this a very noticeable filler plant for the garden. Flowering occurs in mid summer. Plant grows 3–4 feet tall and prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Cut back hard in the spring to keep it from getting woody with the resulting loss of foliage and flower quality. Zones 5-9.
