Bugleweed
Ajuga repens

A good perennial groundcover for shade areas where grass is difficult to grow. Grows 6–9 inches tall and blooms early to late spring with blue flowers. Many forms available with foliage that is course to fine textured and variegated to copper-colored. Divide frequently to prevent crown rot problems. Zones 4-8.
