1. From 1997 to 2002, 131,400 acres of new wetlands were added on farms.
2. The soil erosion rate on farms has decreased over 40 percent since 1982.
3. Over 50 percent of all farms intentionally provide habitat for wildlife.
4. Over 36 percent of farmland has conservation tillage.
