Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) Web Guide Helps
Producers Write CAFO Comments that are due July 30, 2001.
http://extension.agron.iastate.edu/immag/afocafo.html
Iowa State University has developed this site to help livestock
producers voice their concerns over the Environmental Protection
Agency's (EPA) proposed rules for concentrated animal feeding
operations (CAFOs). The site gives references and page numbers
to find changes in the Federal Register. It also outlines questions
producers might consider in developing their comments. There are
links to the proposed CAFO rules, fact sheets and supporting documents.
Comments are due by July 30, 2001 and the earliest new regulations
may take effect is 2003. |
